I ordered more yarn

I ordered Elegance from Knti Picks. It is an Alpaka/Silk blend.
I hope it is nice.

Elegance is a gorgeous yarn. I ordered Andean Silk (Angora, Silk, Merino blend) for this scarf and, while it is lovely and soft, I'm having the worst time knitting the cables with it. *sigh*

Glad to hear the Elegance is nice. Sorry about the Andean Silk. I was thinking about ordering it. Glad I didn't maybe I'll try it later in the year.

My problems may be attributed to my "newness" to knitting. I know I can do cables fine, but maybe I'm just not liking how the yarn holds the pattern. Perhaps something a little less soft would work better... but I am determined! My husband picked out the yarn colour and I'm gonna do it :)

Amber thanks for the comment on the Elegance. I recieved an email saying my yarn was shipped.
Marnie,
I've been knitting for years and I still have a hard time deciding if the yarn is sutable for my project. I'm sure that is part of the reason I have such a large stash. LOL

Dympna... Yup, I think that Peruvian yarn just didn't want to be Irish. I'm doing the Vintage Velvet scarf with it instead (from the Scarf Style book) and it seems to be better. I'll have to find something else for this one!

Marnie,
Glad you found a scarf to knit the yarn with. Wouldn't want to waste the yarn. LOL
