Progress on my Irish Hiking Scarf

Here it is, about 70% completed...

I am not sure about the lengh my scarf should be though...

I am thinking about 45 repeats or so of the design pattern to get a scarf that can wrap at least once around my neck...

What do you all think? Is it going to be long enough?

Other than that, I am so into Cable right now!
